The Sustainable Tourism Summit 2008

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee and North Carolina came together for the first-ever Sustainable Tourism Summit.

The Summit provided an opportunity to hear from leading experts in sustainable tourism. The two power packed days provided extensive insight regarding historic, cultural and environmental information. The Summit was designed for those who realize the importance of protecting their destinations while maintaining economic growth through tourism.
