With growing interest in preserving our environment, the State of Tennessee has used the success of the 2008 Sustainable Tourism Summit to launch on ongoing Sustainable Tourism initiative. This Sustainable Tourism mini-site represents a committed effort to help preserve and protect the state’s unsurpassed natural beauty while encouraging the growth of the tourism industry in Tennessee.
The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development has invested time and resources to create this site as a way of making the white papers and presentations from summit available to the public, as well as providing information about agritourism, events and other news.
This Sustainable Tourism mini-site features several sections to help you learn more about caring for our beautiful state while sharing it with others.
