Elvis recorded more than 200 of his songs at RCA's Historic Studio B on Music Row. The red, blue and green lights found in the studio are a remnant from one of Elvis's Christmas albums. Unable to get in the holiday spirit while recording in July, the crew installed holiday-colored lights, put up a tree and cranked the air up to create a festive holiday atmosphere.
Some say Tennessee has a leg up in the world's music competition, practically pouring out sounds of all sorts right from its birth. However, our melodic history is a reflection of our music's continued popularity. Reverberating from Tennessee's past are legends like B.B. King, Dolly Parton, Isaac Hayes, Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, W.C.
