“Two Telebrations Bring Storytellers to the Blount County Public Library"

Tellabration for families & adults by Faye Wooden & Charles Maynard Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 p.m. For the fifth year, Faye Wooden has coordinated a Tellabration! event at the Blount County Public Library, teaming with numerous other storytellers from East Tennessee. This year’s partner in entertainment will be Charles Maynard.
Entertaining audiences is only one of the goals that Faye Wooden, a Maryville-based storyteller, sets for herself when she takes the stage. Her other objective? Using her stories to share "Laughter, Legends, Lessons and Life" with listeners of all ages. Over the course of each performance, Wooden manages to weave her theme of connection into her repertoire of tales. She tells humorous stories to unite listeners in laughter and legends to connect them with the past. Along the way, she hopes that her audiences will attach themselves to some valuable life lessons.
