Kids Like You, Kids Like Me
Kids Like You, Kids Like Me illustrates that all children are more alike than they are different. The exhibit features hands-on simulations in school and home settings. Included are a playground, classroom, bedroom and kitchen. Guests can play basketball in a wheelchair, master a computer without the use of hands, and ask for a favorite meal without speaking. Visitors see that children with disabilities can enjoy participating in the same activities as other kids - they just do them differently.
