Smoky Mountain Llama Show
The public is invited to participate in llama games and fun as well as for the show on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday watch the llamas and their owners compete in Performance (going over & through various obstacles) and carting and obstacle carting. The halter classes are on Sunday, when the llama is judged, rather than the owner or the owner & the llama. Llamas are used for their Fiber - a hollow cored fiber warmer & lighter than sheep’s wool - so more warmth for less weight - and is usually hyperallergenic for those allergic to wool. Many owners spin their own yam from their llama fiber.
